The event was organized by Bangladesh Social Medical Foundation with support from Mandi Dental College and Hospital and was held at KIB’s 3D Hall, Farm Gate, Dhaka. This will be the first international academic conference in Bangladesh to focus on professional dentistry and the role of artificial intelligence.
During the conference, domestic and international experts presented discussions based on diverse perspectives and research on the innovation and practical application of artificial intelligence in modern dentistry.
Prof. Dr. Forhad Haleem Donor, Executive Director of Ziaur Rahman Foundation and Principal Advisor of Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB) attended the event as the chief guest.
Professor Salauddin Swapon, Chairman of the Board of Special Medical Care Foundation, presided over the program.
Special guests included Dr. Harun Al Rashid, Chairman of the National Institutes of Medical Research and Hospitals and President of the Bangladesh Medical Association, Dr. Zahirul Islam Shakil, Vice-President of the Bangladesh Medical Research Council and Secretary-General of the Bangladesh Medical Association.
The event also welcomed Dr. Abul Kenan, Senior Vice-President of Medical Association of Bangladesh (DAB), Director of NITOR, DAB Senior Vice-President, and Dr. Parimal Chandra Mallick, President of Bangladesh Dental Association as the guests of honor.
The conference highlighted how artificial intelligence is gradually transforming the field of dentistry, opening up opportunities for enhanced diagnosis, precision treatment, and improved patient care.
