Indie musician Siddhant Goenka was exposed to legends like Hemant Kumar and Jagjit Singh during his formative years. This laid the foundation for his early endeavors. Legendary western bands like Scorpions, Eagles, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana and Metallica further shaped his music. Eventually developing a diverse taste derived from countless different streams and genres of music, the artist has produced several singles. Some of his past projects include: Jazz Bart and Paris It has accumulated hundreds of thousands of streams online.
Keeping with that spirit, the musician has created a pop-rock track that he describes as a rollercoaster of emotions. “Alvida” is an intense track, the score of which is by Siddhant and Pratham Sheth. The track also has a music video made entirely using AI tools. We spoke to Siddhant to find out more about the song and the future of AI and art.

What emotions are associated with the story told in Alvida?
The music video is a visceral journey into the soul of a musician caught up in anguish, anger and pain. He stands in a world on the brink of apocalypse, where nothing remains pure and everything around him is crumbling. At the center of this devastation, the wild musician screams at the top of his lungs in a raw and powerful expression of emotion.
As an artist, I believe that the audience must draw their own stories and interpretations. The moment a piece of art or music is released into the world, it no longer belongs solely to the artist, but becomes part of the audience's own experience and emotions.
You used AI to create the music video for this song. Do you think this is the future of all art and creativity?
AI may be the spark that ignites the creative fire, but it's the human touch that fuels that flame. AI tools can be great facilitators and help artists realize their vision, but they can't replace the magic of human imagination. It's the artist's unique experience, emotion, and meticulous input that makes the creative process truly special. AI can enhance and refine, but it's the human element that breathes authenticity and soul into art.
Was the output from the AI generator what you expected?
To be honest, working with AI has been a delicate dance between success and failure. Each failure refines my vision. I envision a compelling story and it inspires me to bring it to life. The key is the harmony between what you see on screen and what you hear. The visuals need to be in sync with the music to amplify the emotion and essence of the song.
Producing AI content requires you to put words into it. How easy or difficult was it working with the AI tools to produce this video?
The art of precision! It's the secret sauce that turns random ideas into meaningful masterpieces. As an artist, I'm obsessed with honing my craft, and AI tools have become my trusty sidekicks. Since my second song, I've been on a wild journey, learning and adapting to the ever-changing landscape of technology. It's not always easy, but the thrill of the journey is addictive. With each new discovery, I'm like a kid in a candy store, eager to explore and create. The learning curve has been steep, but the rewards are priceless. I went from stumbling in the dark to confidently navigating the creative landscape. And the best part? The journey is never-ending! Every day brings new opportunities to learn, grow, and innovate. It's not about easy or hard, it's the pure joy of creating something new and making the impossible possible. So, I'm excited for people who enjoy my music to join me on this adventure where art and technology collide and a beautiful explosion of creativity occurs.
