A video posted to the BJP's Assam unit on X account shows visuals generated by AI in the northeastern states under a Muslim majority population.
In debate over the changes in Assam's demographics and the influx of illegal immigrants from Bangladesh and Myanmar, a political line broke out after the BJP posted an AI-generated video showing the possible state of a northeastern state with a Muslim majority population.
A video posted on the official X-handle of Assam BJP (@bjp4assam) suggested that the state faces “Muslim acquisition” and will continue to legalize beef if the BJP is not in power.
The post has attracted insightful criticism from several political leaders, including Hyderabad MP Asaddin Owaisi, who accused the BJP of trying to create “India without Muslims.”

Titled “Assam without BJP”, the video shows people from the majority of Muslim communities of Assam's tea estate, amusement parks, Guwahati airports and cricket stadiums.
These visuals are captioned with the claim that Assam faces “legalization of beef” and portrayals of Rahul Gandhi and Gauravgogoi against the backdrop of “Pakistan Link Party” against the backdrop of Pakistan flag.
Congress, Owaisi assaults in BJP
Gaurav Gogoi, Chief of Assam's Parliament and deputy opposition leader of Lok Sabah, criticized the video, saying it distorted Assam society and its traditions.
Aimim chief Asaduddin Owaisi said that the “disgusting AI video” showing Assam assaulted in the BJP in the video and that the “disgusting AI video” showing the majority of Muslims Assam only means a vote of fear and a collection. Owaisi further argued that the presence of Muslims is a problem for the BJP.
“BJP Assam has posted a disgusting AI video showing the majority of Muslim Assam in the absence of BJP. They are not scared by the votes alone. This is a true form of repulsive Hindu videology.”
“The very existence of Muslims in India is a problem for them. Their dream is Mukt Bharat, a Muslim. In addition to this constant whining, they have no vision of India,” he added.
