We talk about the trade and journey of this great AI and how it will evolve in the future. You talked about how we can get into AI takeoff. What exactly does that mean, Chris?

Well, I think we have to grapple with the fact that advances in AI may be progressing very rapidly and faster than many people realize. I think we’re seeing evidence of something called recursive self-improvement in AI systems. This means AI systems that are training the next generation of AI systems.

I think a lot of people confuse this with ideas like AGI. it’s not. Rather, it’s just the idea that the rate of advancement of AI models is increasing, uh, increasing at an accelerating rate.

Therefore, I think we will see even more powerful models in the near future. Huge investments from US companies also seem to be driving it. Therefore, its impact is significant.

This means that this is going to become an even bigger driver of markets, an even bigger driver of national security, and perhaps an even bigger important factor in sort of geopolitics and international relations. Well, I feel like we’re going to have to adapt to policies that are a little bit faster and a little bit more unpleasant than we are now.
