iHub-Data at IIIIT Hyderabad invites applications for a six-month training program in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) for undergraduate engineering students. The program is aimed at B.Tech students studying at AICTE affiliated institutes in and around Hyderabad and aims to strengthen their fundamental knowledge through hands-on experience with AI technologies.
The program is designed to introduce students to both classic machine learning concepts and the latest AI techniques through a balanced combination of theoretical instruction and practical learning. Participants will understand and apply key AI concepts through guided hands-on exercises and tutorials.
Training will begin on September 3, 2026 and will run for six months. Classroom sessions are held in person every Sunday at the IIIT Hyderabad campus, and one-hour online tutorial sessions during weekdays allow students to consolidate concepts, complete practical assignments, and clear doubts.
The blended learning format is intended to provide flexibility while maintaining regular interaction with the instructor.
According to Dr. CK Raju, head of education programs at iHub-Data, the program is designed to not only teach AI and ML techniques, but also to help students understand the practical considerations, limitations, and nuances involved in building effective AI solutions. He said developing such understanding is essential if AI is to be responsibly applied to real-world scenarios.
This program is open to undergraduate students pursuing a Bachelor of Technology degree from AICTE affiliated institutions in and around Hyderabad. Organizers said the initiative aims to equip engineering students with knowledge and practical skills that are increasingly relevant across industries adopting AI-driven technologies.
