Should your presentation be concise or is it a storytelling process to share your ideas with others?
I don't know the answer to that question, but I was recently asked to create a presentation for a client, but it wasn't clear whether to present it verbally over Zoom or deliver it via email, so I needed to edit the presentation to feel more conversational and less like a to-do list. While the design was beautiful, the content lacked the same personality.
So, to prepare for all possible outcomes, I turned to goblin.tools , a free, neurodiversity-focused AI platform that helps me navigate everyday tasks like diet, time management, digital communication, and even tone of voice.

How to create a presentation using goblin.tools
step 1: goblin.tools is built with ease of use in mind, so navigating the site is very easy. First, go to the Estimator to get an estimate of how long it will take to create your presentation and set your expectations. Mine was estimated at 2-4 hours, and I never went over that.
Step 2: From here, insert your copy into the Formalizer and toggle the drop-down menus to find the tone you want to work in. The Formalizer has 14 different tone options, allowing you to have fun thinking about how you want to get your point across and how (if) your message will come across.

Step 4: Inevitably, you'll find parts of a presentation that you want to dig a little deeper into. Another great feature of goblin.tools is its professors, who give you a crash course on anything and everything (goblin.tools has access to the training data of OpenAI's GPT model and all of its “knowledge”). You type in what you want explained to you, and the professors respond with a brief explanation of the subject and an example that puts that explanation into practice. So when I was reading a presentation and realized there was a gap between what I was talking about and why it was important for this particular target audience to hear about it, I switched to that part of the site.
Step 5: Once I was happy with my draft presentation, I copied it into Judge to see how it came across. I used this feature to make sure goblin.tools understood my main ideas. If the AI platform could read my presentation from a perspective similar to my own, it gave me a weird confidence about how a real person would respond to it.

Do I need to use goblin.tools to create my presentation?
While this AI tool can't help you both design and create a presentation, it can help you succeed in the creation part. The platform can also learn about the subject, design best practices, and refine your presentation outline, bullet points, and first draft.
But if you're looking for an AI tool to help you with all aspects of your presentation creation process, I'd recommend trying something else before this one. Some of the current buzz in the digital world are Beautiful.ai, Tome, and perennial favorite Canva. This wasn't an issue for me, since I was only (re)writing a presentation. But I understand the need for a tool that lets you create everything at once.
I think goblin.tools will be useful in many aspects of your professional and personal life, and since it's free (unless you live in China), there's no harm in giving it a try.
While this may not be the all-in-one presentation tool you're looking for, it can be useful for a variety of “life management” tasks, like writing emails to clients to clarify whether a presentation will be via Zoom or in person.
