Since last month, a 19-minute explicit video allegedly created using artificial intelligence (AI) has gone viral on social media platforms. The clip and keywords such as “19-minute viral video” sparked controversy as several influencers were accused of unfairly implicating them in the scandal. Haryana Cyber Cell official Amit Yadav confirmed that the clip is indeed an AI-generated fake and raises serious questions about privacy and consent in the digital age.
Influencers speak out against false claims
Popular creators such as Payal Dhare (Payal Gamingg) and Sweet_zannat deny any connection to this video. Dare expressed her anguish over the rumors and appealed to everyone to stop spreading falsehoods. “I want to be absolutely clear: the person depicted in that video is not me and has nothing to do with my life, my choices, or my identity,” she wrote on Instagram.

Dare added: “What is most distressing is not just the misrepresentation itself, but how quickly and easily personal dignity can be undermined in the digital space.” “This is not just for me, but for the many women who have suffered similar forms of online abuse and character attacks. Cop issues warning against sharing video
“People don't realize how harmful their actions are… a moment of entertainment… turns into years of trauma (for us),” Arora wrote. In his video, Yadav warned people not to share or save AI-generated clips. He explained that if someone does so, he will be punished under Sections 67, 67A and 66 of the IPC, which could result in a fine of up to 2L or imprisonment for 3 years. Even though the video and its associated keywords have been trending for weeks, new names are being linked to it every day.
