From accelerating ingredient discovery and accelerating R&D to menu optimization, personalized nutrition and rapid concept development, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) are being implemented at breakneck speed across food, agriculture and related industries.
At AgFunder's annual meeting earlier this month (held at the SynBioBeta conference in San Jose), AgFunder's head of engineering, Robin Ranjit Singh Chauhan (pictured, far left), spoke with founders of three portfolio companies to explore how startups in the space are leveraging these tools.
- Cromatic: Uses AI to help biotech companies find and connect with contract research organizations and manage the relationship afterward (Anne Chen, second from left, co-founder and CTO).
- Atinary Technologies: We are building a cloud-based machine learning platform that significantly accelerates the research and development process for discovering breakthrough materials and molecules.
