Caliph warns AI in healthcare to “exaggerate”
On a stage between the two in Manhattan's Midtown office earlier this week, former Food and Drug Director Robert Caliph gave a measured tone of the potential of artificial intelligence in healthcare. We were asked if technology was exaggerated. “I hear too much about money, I don't hear many human values through discussion,” he said. addition:
“Almost all of the technologies are applied to optimize the financial situation of healthcare provider entities or companies that manufacture medical products, which is not consistent with fair and better patient outcomes. So, until someone brings their soul back into the system, I think it's going to get worse and worse.”
