Hitachi Establishes Google Cloud Division to Advance GenAI Innovation

Technology leaders Hitachi and Google have announced a multi-year collaboration to accelerate GenAI innovation across industries. As part of the collaboration, the companies will Hitachi Google Cloud Division And that Google Cloud Center of Excellence (CoE). The two GenAI hubs will focus on helping companies solve specific industry challenges using Gemini AI models, Vertex AI and other cloud-native AI ML technologies. Hitachi's Google Cloud business unit will also focus on adopting Google Cloud's advanced AI models to enhance Hitachi's internal products and services to accelerate the growth of its core digital business unit, Lumada.

Overall, Google Cloud's AI models will not only accelerate customers' GenAI innovation, but also improve operational efficiency for the Hitachi Group.

Hitachi Vantara Supports Expanding GenAI Development

IT organizations can rapidly scale GenAI engineering efforts within their existing IT environments without compromising the safety, security and permissions of stored data. Google Cloud and Hitachi are Virtual Storage Platform OneThis integration allows AI teams to incorporate all applications into a single data fabric.

GTM and Human Resource Development

Hitachi Group and Google Cloud will align their respective marketing, sales, product engineering, and GTM teams to deploy newly developed AI and ML solutions into existing and future markets. Through the Hitachi Google Cloud business unit and Google Cloud CoE, Hitachi will ensure that customers have access to the resources they need to successfully deploy and manage their GenAI projects. They will also provide training to GenAI experts on Google Cloud technologies, enabling customers to rapidly transform their digital processes with AI and data management solutions.

As part of the partnership, Hitachi will train 50,000 genAI professionals on Google Cloud.
