Integrate your medical records system with Oracle Health Foundation EHR and implement Oracle Health Clinical AI Agent and Oracle Health Seamless Exchange across your network.

– Hillsboro Health, an independent 25-bed critical access hospital based in Hillsboro, Illinois, selects Oracle Health solutions to accelerate innovation, increase operational efficiency, and enhance patient care. In addition to migrating from legacy systems to an integrated Oracle Health Foundation EHR, Hillsboro Health plans to leverage Oracle Health Clinical AI Agent, an AI-powered, voice-driven solution, to automate clinical documentation and free up providers to spend more time with patients. Additionally, the hospital has implemented Oracle Health Seamless Exchange to give clinicians access to comprehensive patient records and facilitate more coordinated care delivery across the expanded network.

Hillsboro Health provides emergency services, inpatient care, outpatient nursing services, general surgery, primary and specialty care, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy services to the Montgomery County community. With expansion and modernization projects undertaken this year, Hillsboro Health is using Oracle Health Foundation EHR to standardize its clinical systems, streamline documentation processes, increase provider satisfaction, and enable more effective care coordination as it prepares for growth.

“As we look to expand care services across our network, the need to integrate our clinical systems has become increasingly important,” said Michael Alexander, CEO of Hillsboro Health. “Moving to Oracle Health’s unified platform and innovative AI solutions not only simplifies processes for our clinicians, but also allows our teams to focus more time on delivering great care to our patients.”

Oracle Health Clinical AI Agent is integrated into Oracle Health Foundation EHR, allowing Hillsboro Medicine clinicians to more quickly access and document information during patient visits. The Generated AI Notes feature automatically creates structured notes from patient-clinician interactions for quick review and approval. This allows clinicians to focus their attention on the patient during the consultation without being overburdened with additional administrative tasks.

Oracle Health Seamless Exchange allows Hillsboro Health clinicians to securely aggregate data from third-party sources such as national and local exchanges and immunization registries, cleanse and deduplicate data, and then easily incorporate it into clinician workflows. This creates a comprehensive patient record, minimizes the time required to gather information, and supports informed care decisions.

“Bringing advanced integrated technology to rural healthcare settings is a key part of Oracle Health’s vision,” said Seema Verma, executive vice president and general manager of Oracle Health and Life Sciences. “We are proud to continue our decades-long commitment to supporting small and critical access hospitals with AI-powered solutions that help maximize staff impact, drive efficient care delivery, and foster strong connections in the communities they serve.”
