Global technology companies HCLTech and IBM have announced a collaboration to establish a Generative AI Center of Excellence (GenAI CoE) based on the IBM watsonx AI and data platform.
The CoE will be available through HCLTech's AI and Cloud Native labs in Noida, London, New Jersey and Santa Clara in the U.S. The companies claim that the CoE will help enterprises modernize legacy applications, develop IT service management (ITSM) use cases, reduce coding complexity and improve skill development on the IBM watsonx platform.
“Our expanded collaboration with IBM will enable us to develop highly differentiated HCL Tech products using the latest IBM technologies to rapidly explore the potential of AI. We plan to incorporate watsonx into the HCL Tech AI Force with its GenAI-powered solutions to support code modernization,” said Alan Flower, EVP and Global Head, AI & Cloud Native Labs, HCL Tech.
