SAN FRANCISCO: Meta on Wednesday warned that hackers are using the potential of generative artificial intelligence like ChatGPT to trick people into installing malicious code on their devices.

Meta found and blocked over 1,000 web addresses that were advertised as promising ChatGPT-like tools but were actually traps set by hackers.
