Grubmarket, a company in the food supply chain and e-commerce industry, has introduced AI agents designed to automate business insights in the food wholesale and distribution business.

Reporting AI Agent is the third tool to join the Grubassist AI platform, a company that follows order and inventory management agents, according to a press release.

Agents are built to address the challenge of extracting timely and actionable data from complex enterprise resource planning systems. Provide reports, daily, weekly, or monthly insights directly to decision makers via email containing attached charts and spreadsheets.

Reporting AI agents use what Grubmarket calls the “food supply chain industry knowledge graph.” This allows you to understand industry-specific terminology and nuances when meeting reporting tasks. The system can also be integrated with third-party business intelligence applications.

The key advantage is that it allows business leaders to become proactive rather than reactive.

“With reporting AI agents, we are enhancing food wholesalers and distributors being proactive rather than reactive,” said Mike Xu, founder and CEO of Grubmarket in the release. “By automating AI-powered reporting and incorporating deep food supply chain industry knowledge into AI agents, we provide business leaders with powerful tools to improve decision-making, efficiency and profitability, something the industry has not been able to benefit before.”
