Atlanta— Gray Television Station has struck a deal with Detroit-based Waymark to enable Gray’s local TV station to use Waymark’s generative AI video production platform. .
Waymark’s generative AI video platform enables local businesses to generate high-quality, narrated TV commercials in less than five minutes. Gray’s local sales team has already implemented Waymark’s technology to reach small business prospects with customized creatives.
The companies said Gray plans to roll out the platform to all 113 local TV stations.
“Waymark’s easy-to-use platform has helped us focus more on video marketing in the local market,” said Pat Laplatney, president and co-CEO of Gray Television. “In return, we are able to produce videos at higher speeds, and our salespeople have had a lot of success using this tool. We were lucky to be seen nationally already.”
Earlier this year, Spectrum Reach, the ad sales business of Waymark and Charter Communications, Inc., announced a nationwide deal for the platform. Using Waymark’s platform, local businesses across Spectrum Reach’s footprint are creating broadcast-ready, real-time commercials for their TV and streaming TV advertising campaigns.
Waymark CEO Alex Persky-Stern said: “Our AI video platform enables local advertisers to create customized, high-quality commercials in record time and at a very affordable rate.”
