Google Photos adds AI functionality to convert photos into custom videos

Google has released a major update to its popular app, Google Photos, which allows users to bring still photos to life.

According to Google’s blog post, the Photo-to-Video feature has been significantly improved. This feature was first introduced in 2025, but it didn’t work very effectively at the time.

Now, Google has enhanced it with AI capabilities, allowing users to turn photos into videos according to their instructions. This means you can now create short, customized video clips from your favorite photos.

This blog post describes how users can tell AI how to animate their photos. Here’s how it works:

1. Open the Google Photos app and[作成]Click on the tab.
2. [写真からビデオへ]Select the option and select the desired photo.
3. Then you’ll see options like “Text Prompt,” “Subtle Movement,” and “Feeling Lucky.”
4. [テキスト プロンプト]If you select , enter your written instructions and[生成]Click and wait a few seconds.

Google Photos uses advanced video AI models to interpret your instructions and create videos from your photos exactly as you imagine them.
