The comprehensive document was drafted by fellow engineers based on internal experience. The goal is for everyone to use AI to increase productivity. Google hopes this will lead to faster iterations and more efficient development.
The guidelines cover the use of AI tools in programming, but details are very limited. At the very least, I'll explain what AI in the current generation can and cannot do. Google wants to understand in-house engineers how AI-based systems are built. The specific goal is for team leaders and managers to learn how to incorporate AI integration into their teams.

The 30% AI coding figure, which rose by more than 5% over six months, refers to codes generated by AI. Employees will check the code.
