Google India and Sony Pictures Networks India have partnered to bring Google Gemini to the new season of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati?’ Turn your AI chatbot into an interactive knowledge companion for your long-running quiz show.
The collaboration will integrate Gemini with Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV and weave AI tools into the “KBC” experience, from contestant registration to general knowledge preparation. Google’s Assistant will also be embedded directly within the show’s content.
In the Gemini app, users already have access to step-by-step guidance on ‘KBC’ registration requirements and criteria. Interactive challenges aimed at increasing general knowledge across a variety of subjects will be published soon. Registration for the new season is now open.

“KBC” Indian version “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” premiered in 2000 and has been broadcast on Sony Entertainment Television since 2010. The host is Amitabh Bachchan. SPNI’s streaming platform, Sony LIV, will broadcast the program alongside the television broadcast.
Beyond the Hindi “KBC”, “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” This format is similar to “Neengarum Velaram Oru Kodi” and “Kodiswari” in Tamil, “Meelo Eval Kotiswarudhu” in Telugu, and “Kannadada Kocha” in Kannada. It has also been adapted into several other Indian languages such as ‘Dipati’, ‘Kon Hoer Marati Crorepati’ in Marathi, ‘Ke Hobe Bangla Kotipoti’ in Bengali and ‘Ningalkum Arkham’. ‘Kodeeshwaran’ in Malayalam, ‘Ke Bani Crorepati’ in Bhojpuri and ‘Kus Bani Koshur Crorepati’ in Kashmiri are available on various platforms. The Gemini integration partnership is currently only for the Hindi version.
