Google has extended the release of its AI video generation application called Google Flow, making it accessible to AI Pro and AI Ultra users as well as Google Workspace Business app and academic users. In this way, Google aims to develop AI video generation capabilities within its business software.

This expansion highlights how Google is treating generative video capabilities not as an experimental task, but as an important feature to build into the Workspace package. Our goal is to make creating short-form videos easy for everyone.

What does Google Flow offer users?

Google Flow relies on the Veo 3.1 video generation model and can create video clips of up to 8 seconds based on simple text descriptions or images. You can combine several video clips to create a larger video scene.

This application also comes with advanced tools to further narrow down your results. This includes controlling the light and camera angle, and creating or removing objects in the image. Google recently introduced vertical video functionality in its applications.

In parallel with video creation, audio creation also takes place. You can create audio when users extend videos, switch scenes, or use reference images. This is another element that adds realism to AI videos.

Flow also comes with an integrated tool called Nano Banana Pro, Google’s AI tool for image creation. This gives users the opportunity to create their own characters and image concepts before applying them to video scenes. This is an efficient way to create one using Google’s system.
