Google and Samsung are collaborating to develop and deploy new artificial intelligence (AI) experiences for Android and Galaxy smartphones. Two technology giants have partnered for the first time on Circle to Search and AI. The visual lookup feature allows the user to perform his Google search by drawing on the screen. Although it was developed by Google, it was launched on the Samsung Galaxy S24 series before the Pixel 8 series. Now, the two companies have confirmed that they will work together to build new AI capabilities for the ecosystem.

Later, Samsung Mobile's official X handle also reposted the image, emphasizing that the two companies are aligned on the vision of AI for the Android and Galaxy ecosystems. The smartphone maker also teased that it is building exciting AI features. Some of these may be unveiled at the Google I/O event on May 14th. During this event, the tech giant will also announce new features of his Android 15 and operating system.
In addition to the partnership, the two companies are also working on AI-focused products and services. Samsung released the Galaxy AI feature suite for the Galaxy S24 series earlier this year, and it's now being expanded to more devices. Apart from Circle to Search, we've added features like Live Translate, which enables two-way real-time voice translation and live caption translation for calls. Samsung's AI-based photo editing tool Generative Edit and Samsung Keyboard's Chat Assist were also added through Galaxy AI.
Google is also hard at work building AI capabilities for the Android ecosystem. Recently, there were reports that the company is working on improving his Gemini AI assistant. According to reports, Gemini for Android may come with features such as floating windows and live prompts that allow for prompt scheduling.
