Google has expanded its AI-powered video editing tool, Google Vids, to all users for free.
Previously, Google Vids was only available to Google Workspace and AI Plan Subscrivers. The latest releases are standard variants, and come with plenty of templates, packs of AI features, and more.
Last year, Google Vids allowed users to quickly create video presentations. This new tool will enable storyboarding and more with proposed scenes, stock images, background music.
Additionally, it includes 12 pre-made AI avatars, which brings changes to the voice and appearance, allowing users to add scripts to easily create presentations.
It is appropriate to mention that the free variant does not include cutting-edge AI-powered features released on Wednesday.
Google does not have any information on when this feature will start.
Additionally, Search Engine Tech Giant allows users to generate new short, 8-second videos showing specific photos, such as product images, via recently launched video generation options.
“A 10-minute clip with a real actor can take up to six months and can cost thousands of dollars,” said Vishnu Sivaji, product director at Google.
“VIDS allows businesses to produce training videos, product demos and support content faster.”
With this important update, Google aims to help businesses save money and time.
