Bing said its 1 billion monthly active users are humans, not bots. Google Ads extends the pace of Smart Bidding research and budget planning to Shopping campaigns. Google Ads requires a passkey for certain sensitive operations. Google Ads now has a new feature that uses AI to add products. Google Ads AI Max content and title exclusions are done at the account level. Google Ads has updated its data retention policy. Google Ads call recording is turned on by default. OpenAI has officially released the ChatGPT Ad Manager tool. Click-through rates for ChatGPT ads aren’t too bad. Google Business Profile suspensions are rapidly increasing due to user restrictions. Bing Places for Business is finally mobile-friendly. Ask.com has shut down its search engine for the first time in nearly 30 years. That was the search news at this week’s Search Engine Roundtable.
