Google has announced that it is rolling out AI Overview in the US, but many searchers want to turn off AI Overview, and some content creators want to opt out of AI Overview. Google is reading feedback about search quality issues and changes may be made. Google may also offer an automated action viewer in Search Console. Google also rolled out a web filter that only shows text links in search results. Google has lowered the search rankings of some deepfake porn sites. Google has closed a thread on its complaint forum about images not appearing in search result snippets. Google may offer new local ranking signals, service areas. Google Local Service Ads tests sending messages to multiple companies at the same time. Google Ads AI Overview will be available to select advertisers.
