Kate Middleton made a grand return to the public on Saturday, attending Trooping the Colour with her family for King Charles' birthday parade.
She was first spotted in a car with Prince William and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, before appearing at the car window as part of a royal procession. Saturday's appearance marked her first time being seen in public since Christmas and her cancer diagnosis.
Kate was seen riding in the Glass State Coach with her children and is due to appear on the balcony of Buckingham Palace later today.
Meanwhile, six-year-old Prince Louis, who was riding in a carriage with Kate and her siblings, was photographed waving to the crowds as he and the family approached Horse Guards Parade.
The Prince and Princess of Wales' glamorous appearance came the day after Kate shared an update on her health and announced that she would be taking part in the parade.
Kate Middleton's new photos bring Getty disclaimer, leaving netizens in doubt again
Kensington Palace on Friday released the first official photographs of Kate since she announced her cancer diagnosis in March.
The photo, taken at her home in Windsor, was shared on Kensington Palace's official social media accounts.
In the photo, the Princess of Wales can be seen posing under a tree. Sky News reported that the picture was taken earlier this week. She is wearing trousers and a beige blazer with small white stripes. Photo by Matt Porteous/Kensington Palace via Getty Images.
In a signed photo caption, Kate detailed her health status, saying her chemotherapy treatments were “going well” and that she'd started working from home, adding that she had “good days, bad days.”
“My treatment is ongoing and will continue for a few more months,” she said. “On days when I feel well enough, I enjoy participating in school life and spending my personal time doing things that give me energy and positivity.”

“In an undated photograph distributed by Kensington Palace, Kate Middleton stands under a tree in Windsor, England. The Princess of Wales will attend a flag ceremony in London on Saturday and said she hopes to “take part in some engagements over the summer” as she continues her cancer treatment for “a few more months.”
Concerns about the Queen's health have been widespread on social media since the 42-year-old disappeared from public view, and were exacerbated by Kensington Palace's decision to release doctored family photos on Mother's Day in the UK in March this year.
Well-known British TV personality Piers Morgan claimed to have taken a photo of Kate on a “shopping trip”, but social media users denied the photo was of Prince Charles, sparking rumours about her health.
Some social media users again pointed out that the photo “looks unnatural,” supporting claims that it had been edited.
“This has been proven to be a fake AI. Rumors are it's a hologram or the face is completely obscured. There are many issues with the photo. This is not a photo of someone undergoing chemotherapy. I have worked in clinics and hospitals with patients undergoing chemotherapy. This is not a patient undergoing chemotherapy,” one user wrote to X.
Another user shared a screenshot of the 99 percent AI detection in Kate's latest photo.
“Isn't it weird that #KateMiddleton hasn't had any new clothes since 2023? #FOKolonelKate,” another person responded.
