Fujitsu launches new platform that autonomously operates generated AI optimized for in-house applications in a dedicated environment

Applications of AI

Kawasaki City, Japan, January 26, 2026 – (JCN Newswire) – Fujitsu today announced the launch of a purpose-built AI platform that enables enterprises to autonomously manage the entire generative AI lifecycle, including optimal model development, operation, incremental learning, and continuous model and agent improvement. The platform will be gradually rolled out in Japan and Europe, with preliminary trial registration scheduled to begin in February 2026.

Going forward, Fujitsu will accelerate the deployment of platforms that support all AI scales, from large-scale enterprise AI to edge AI and physical AI. At Fujitsu, we will continue to evolve generative AI as business changes, enabling secure and reliable use across all industries and operations, and ultimately driving transformation and growth for our customers.

Overview of the new platform

Companies using generative AI need an environment that meets sovereignty requirements, including the protection of sensitive data and the ability to autonomously control AI models and agents that are optimized for their operations. However, deploying such an AI platform in a dedicated in-house environment faces challenges such as staffing AI engineers, complex operational management, increased computing resource requirements, and mitigating new security threats.

To address these issues and realize highly sovereign AI, Fujitsu will provide a dedicated AI platform that can also be used on-premises. Fujitsu provides new platform for Private AI Platform on PRIMERGY [1] and private GPT [2]. The platform is comprised of Fujitsu’s advanced AI technology and platform products, including the Fujitsu Kozuchi AI Platform. Providing these as a single package lowers the hurdles for initial implementation and enables rapid implementation without extensive specialized knowledge.

Platform features

1. Dedicated infrastructure

  • The platform ensures secure use of generative AI in a dedicated, closed environment, preventing data leakage to the outside world.
  • Customers can choose their preferred installation location, such as their own data center or a Fujitsu data center, based on their specific requirements.
  • Fujitsu provides a wide range of services from infrastructure installation to advanced operations, providing total support to our customers.

2. Generative AI trust technology

  • The platform leverages vulnerability scanner and guardrail technology that identifies over 7,700 vulnerabilities (including Fujitsu-defined types) to detect and suppress malicious attacks such as prompt injection, improper output, and unexpected behavior before and during execution.
  • Automatic rule generation and guardrail application for detected vulnerabilities enable stable, safe, and reliable AI operations even for non-experts
  • Fujitsu will continue to enhance its anti-hallucination technology and improve the reliability of the information generated.

3. High-precision AI generation model and customization/lightweight technology

  • A platform is being built around Takane, [3] Large-scale language models that provide highly accurate Japanese performance and image analysis, with in-house fine-tuning capabilities to continuously improve business-specific models
  • AI models are lighter and consume up to 94% less memory. [4] Improving the usability of generated AI through more efficient use of computing resources
  • Integrating quantization technology significantly reduces the cost of using AI while improving performance

4. Technology to improve the efficiency of AI agent development

  • The AI Agent Framework provides low-code/no-code capabilities to accelerate building AI agents and improve development efficiency and speed for field teams.
  • The platform supports Model Context Protocol (MCP) and agent-to-agent communication, enabling seamless integration with existing systems and data, and collaboration between multiple AI agents for advanced applications.
  • Fujitsu is considering plans to containerize its proprietary technology and provide it as an on-demand AI agent
