Fujitsu and Mizuho Financial Group, Inc. (hereafter referred to as “Mizuho”) have launched a joint demonstration experiment using Fujitsu’s generative AI technology to improve the efficiency of Mizuho system development and maintenance work. The exam will run from June 19, 2023 to March 31, 2024.
Generative AI technology has great potential to transform the way we work, and rigorous testing could enable companies to optimize various work processes and tasks in the near future.
Recognizing the potential of this technology, Mizuho is currently exploring ways to incorporate AI into its operations to improve the quality and resilience of its systems during the development and maintenance phases.
Under the framework of “Fujitsu Kozuchi (development code name) – Fujitsu AI Platform”, which supports users globally to accelerate the verification and introduction of advanced AI technology, Fujitsu has developed a generative AI model that supports system development and maintenance technology. We are actively promoting research and development. .
Fujitsu and Mizuho will use Fujitsu’s generative AI in Mizuho’s system development process to verify the effectiveness of AI that automatically detects errors and omissions in system design planning and auditing processes. Emphasis on applying technology.
On June 9, 2023, Fujitsu began offering the AI core engine for generative AI, “Fujitsu Kozuchi (development code name) – Fujitsu AI Platform”. The generative AI technology used in the joint demonstration is a combination of this AI core engine for generative AI and Fujitsu’s engineering know-how.
The two companies are also planning to develop a technology that automatically generates test specifications from system design plans by improving the aforementioned technology. Fujitsu and Mizuho also plan to further apply generative AI technology to business processes and tasks such as source code generation, system development, and maintenance to strengthen business process resilience.
Fujitsu, cooperation: Tokyo Institute of Technology (Tokyo Institute of Technology) (1)Tohoku University (2)RIKEN (3) In May, it also announced the start of a research and development project for distributed training of large-scale language models (LLMs). (Four) It will be installed in the supercomputer “Fugaku” and will be released in 2024.
Fujitsu will utilize the research results of this project to promote practical research in the industrial world, and by applying them to Mizuho’s systems, it aims to further improve the quality and efficiency of Mizuho’s operations.
