Eiffage said the partnership with Google Cloud will see the company develop an in-house technology platform based on Google Cloud solutions such as BigQuery, Apigee, Vertex AI and Gemini.
The company hopes the technology will help the Eiffage team improve their efficiency and ease of work, and said it will focus on “designing and implementing specific use cases.”
The collaboration will also include the creation of a data and AI curriculum within Effaj University, aimed at fostering technological innovation.
Efferji said he wants to deepen employees' understanding of technology and its potential, develop their skills and capabilities, and ultimately enable them to lead innovation.
“AI is here to support our teams, regardless of function, organization or region. This partnership aims to leverage our ERP, an integrated information system, to unlock the full potential of data,” said Jean-Philippe Faure, Chief Information Officer at Effage. [enterprise resource planning systems] It has been widely deployed across the Group and across our various operations to maintain the highest security standards while improving efficiency, creating value and driving sustainable growth.”
Isabelle Frein, managing director for France at Google Cloud, added: “Eiffage's AI strategy is based on a strong data foundation, a human-centric implementation approach, open technologies, and built-in security. We are pleased to support this initiative and help Eiffage move from AI experimentation to AI construction.”
