Greenwich, Connecticut—O’Shaughnessy Ventures LLC (OSV), an investment firm that empowers creators, has announced that it has awarded Rohan Taori an O’Shaughnessy Fellowship.
Taori will use a $100,000 fellowship grant to create flexible, accessible, and interactive AI models that can process complex and diverse data. These models are trained on large amounts of video data and allow users to easily edit, generate and infer video content.
Taori is a machine learning engineer who grew up in the Bay Area.
He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. At Stanford University, he trained his AI model using synthetic data and tuned it to follow user instructions, making it more reliable. Previously, he studied and taught Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley.

OSV launched a one-year fellowship program this year to provide research funding. The fellow will receive a $100,000 grant and access to her network of OSV founders, investors and experts to help bring the project to life.
