Artificial intelligence has become so pervasive in modern society that it feels like there is no escape from it.
I currently use AI at least once a day in my daily life, and I think others can say the same, or close to it.
But it certainly has uses beyond enslaving humanity one day. AI can be used to streamline cooking recipes, training plans, and even job interview preparation.

Interestingly, that last example is exactly the same as a recently fired college football coach who started using AI’s services, according to On3.

I literally had to look twice to make sure this wasn’t a fake or parody account, but this is real. It says “On3” instead of “No3”.
Even the graphics excites me. The big, bold “CLAUDE” really drives home the point that former LSU coach Brian Kelly is just like us.
“Hey, Claude! Can you tell me why I was the only coach hired by LSU in the 21st century who never won a national championship while employed by the school? Please cite your sources.”

I wonder if he spent some of his money buying the premium version, or if he’s just using the free version like us commoners.
As you could probably predict, the best people at X had an absolute field day challenging Kelly and his preferred method of mock interviews.
Seriously, maybe Brian Kelly is ahead of his time in this regard.
who knows? Perhaps someday AI will replace offensive and defensive coordinators. It’s like a real-life version of “Ask Madden,” where coaches can simply “Ask Grok” to advance through four verticals or mesh for a specific look.
However, let’s hope that’s not the case.

Those in power are already ruining the sport even further by introducing a 24-team playoff. Stop bringing AI into the equation.
As for Kelly, while he deserves credit for his honesty, I doubt this transparency will make him any more employable than he already is.

He may want to take a few years off and appear on TV during that time. I don’t think any Power Four program is going to hire a 64-year-old former head coach who needs an AI to tell him what tie to wear to a job interview.
