Food delivery and e-commerce platform Magicpin has launched Vera, an AI-based assistant aimed at giving restaurants and retailers real-time visibility into order volumes and supporting operational planning. Press Trust of India (PTI) reported.
The company onboarded more than 100,000 merchants during Vera’s pilot, ahead of its official launch.

MagicPin’s rollout comes after a major LPG shortage disrupted operations at food delivery partner restaurants across India.
During this period, the company said it used Vera to provide real-time, AI-enabled support.
According to the platform, the AI layer aims to ease the constraints of small businesses operating on shoestring margins by enhancing their online visibility, helping them connect with a broader customer base, and supporting revenue generation.
Separately, the company confirmed the launch through a LinkedIn post.
“This is also our entry into a new business area, backed by a $1 million investment in AI-driven merchant enablement,” the post added.
According to Magicpin, Vera will act as an always-on AI co-pilot for merchants. This allows businesses to optimize their Google Business listings and gain visibility across AI-driven discovery channels such as ChatGPT.
You can also turn incoming queries into “high intent leads” in real time.
Last November, Magicpin partnered with Rapido to connect its restaurant network to Rapido’s food delivery service, Ownly.
Through the agreement, Ownly is said to gain access to over 80,000 restaurants across India, supporting Rapido’s plans to expand its range of services.
