The Future Talents platform provides an integrated digital system for managing talent throughout its lifecycle, from identification and evaluation to development and retention.

The Federal Office of Human Resources (FAHR) on Monday launched its AI-powered Future Talents platform to support the development of young national talent in the federal government and enhance future workforce readiness.

Faisal bin Butti Al Muheiri, Director-General of FAHR, said the platform marks a qualitative leap forward in unifying methodologies for discovering, developing and empowering future talent through intelligent digital models that support data-driven decision-making and increase the readiness of future leaders. This will foster a more efficient, agile and sustainable government work environment that puts people at the center of change.

FAHR establishes a sustainable government model for talent management

The Future Talents platform, part of the Talents project, provides an integrated digital system for managing talent throughout its lifecycle, from identification and assessment to development and retention. We link candidate profiles with the ‘Bayanati’ HRMS and ‘Jahiz’ platforms to provide data dashboards and performance metrics to support decision-making.

By managing talent candidates across all framework stages in an automated and integrated manner, the platform unifies methodologies for identifying, developing and empowering young talent at the federal level. It will also strengthen the integration of national efforts to build capacity and establish innovative and sustainable government models for talent management based on responsiveness and long-term impact.

Khaled Mohamed Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Federal Youth Affairs Department, emphasized the importance of a “general framework for managing future human resources.” This is a vital step towards building a government ecosystem that can better identify, attract, develop and invest in young national talent, based on the firm belief that young people are the basis of the future of government.

This framework establishes an integrated pathway that aligns with young people’s aspirations and gives them real opportunities for growth, influence and active participation in decision-making.

UAE to develop integrated federal database of future talent

The Future Talent Platform forms part of a broader effort to support the implementation of a common framework for managing future talent across the federal government. It aims to establish an attractive and empowering work environment for young people, while engaging talent in shaping the talent management system and the future of government work.

“This framework contributes to the creation of an attractive and motivating work environment that balances ambition and responsiveness, turning young potential into sustainable added value. In line with the UAE’s strategy of investing in human capital, this framework strengthens the preparation of future leaders who are able to innovate, adapt to change and participate in the design and implementation of the federal government’s priorities,” said Al Nuaimi.

The platform is aimed at human resources departments across federal agencies, providing a unified way to manage the recruitment and selection process for young talent candidates.

FAHR called on all departments and federal agencies to use the platform to identify future talent, especially employees under the age of 35, and develop systematic plans for their empowerment, development, and retention.

A unified federal database of future talent will also be established to support long-term workforce planning.
