Posts from multiple users on social media platform X and Facebook are said to have been sharing videos since Monday showing Iranian forces thanking Pakistan for information support for Israel. However, virus clips are generated by AI.
Israel launched a wide range of air attacks on Iran's nuclear facilities, military facilities and civilian housing on June 13, killing the commander-in-chief, scientists, scientists and hundreds of others. After 12 days of combat, a ceasefire was reached on June 24th.
On Monday, a pro-military account on Facebook shared a video of two soldiers allegedly recording the video in gratitude to Pakistan.
“Our nuclear program is safe. Thank you, Pakistan, for protecting it with your information support,” they said.
The post was captioned. “Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you to Pakistan.”
The post has received 1.4 million views and 12,000 responses.

Another similar video went viral among social media users on Wednesday, showing that it was expressing gratitude to Pakistan.
In the midst of the conflict with Israel, due to the high virality and sharp public interest in diplomatic relations between Iran and Pakistan, a fact check has been launched to determine the truthfulness of the claims.
Video observations revealed signs of AI-generated content, including plastic-like skin texture, unnatural lip movements, and eyes that were fixed without flashing throughout the viral clip.
Analyzing the video using a tool that detects operations revealed that Hive Moderation assigned a 57% suspicion rating, and Attestiv.ai gave it a 30% rating, but Deepware did not flag the content as a deepfake.
The Viral Clip also features the VEO logo for Bottom-Right Corner, a text-to-video model developed by Google Deepmind.
Search for username @isipakistan440 Tiktok accounts were generated to appear as they appear in clips, and similar AI-generated videos with nationalistic content.
For the second video, observations showed the same indications of the content generated in AI.
Analyzing the video using this tool revealed that Hive Moderation assigned a 31% suspicion rating, but Deepware did not flag the content as Deepfake.
The VEO logo has also been added in the lower right corner.
Reverse image search resulted in Tiktok posts from your account @waggyaifeaturing the same video posted on Monday.

– Tehran celebration images – Fake
Pro-Iranian users shared images of Tehran's Mirado Tower on Tuesday X, caption: “Tehran now… the Iranian capital is celebrating a great victory. Tap the photo to share.”
This post was viewed by over 2.5 million people.
The same image was shared by Indian actors and film critics on X, gaining over 88,000 viewers.
Several other X users also shared the same claims as seen here, here, here, here, here and here.
He also appeared on Facebook and received over 1,000 reactions.
The reverse image search led to an Instagram post dated October 27, 2020 by the account Lorestan_Travel_Guide, a self-description tour guide. This post featured the same image with the caption.
Additionally, the same images were previously shared in September and November 2024.

On Wednesday, X users shared an eight-second clip showing the masses of people gathered on city streets, appearing to be in the mood for celebration and protest.
The caption reads, “At today's rally in Tehran, young people are raising the Pakistan flag and expressing their gratitude to Pakistan.”
The post has received 43,600 views.

The clip was also found in Tiktok.
Examining the virus clip reveals some inconsistencies. The walking style of crowds appears to glide unnaturally fast, giving the impression that individuals are gliding rather than walking naturally.
With the 5-second mark, you can see people moving in different directions and oddly passing each other. Furthermore, those who raise their hands while chanting the slogans show unusual hand movements.
The presence of the “Veo” watermark in the lower right corner indicates that the video was created using input generated by AI.
Examining the video using AI detection tools revealed that Hive Moderation was flagged at a 99.9% chance that it would be generated by AI.
Therefore, the claim that the video shows that it is grateful to Pakistan at a Tehran rally while carrying the flag. error. The video is deepfake.
