Noxtua is the latest customer to move into Deutsche Telekom’s AI factory in Munich. The company develops European Sovereign Legal AI for legal professionals in law firms, corporations, government, and judicial institutions. AI specific to the legal context supports research, contract analysis, and legal document creation, among other things. Legal professionals work with sensitive data, and the legal sector is subject to strict criminal, professional, and data protection requirements, so a secure infrastructure is essential. Processing in sovereign data centers operated by European cloud providers is particularly important given US cloud law. To achieve this objective, Noxtua plans to cooperate in the future with Deutsche Telekom’s Sovereign Industrial AI Cloud, among others.

Deutsche Telekom’s Industrial AI Cloud not only offers Noxtua the added value of GPU computing power for AI training and inference (i.e. the process by which AI analyzes new and unknown data and derives predictions, classifications and decisions from it), but also seamless integration into the “German Stack” with partners such as SAP and Siemens, and the highest standards of security and compliance.

Innovative AI provider partners with Deutsche Telekom’s AI Factory
Founded in Berlin in 2017 based on research from the University of Oxford and Imperial College London, AI company Noxtua is developing Europe’s sovereign legal AI to cover the full range of legal document work through research, analysis and document creation. Legally Compliant AI meets lawyers’ professional, criminal, and data protection requirements and has multiple ISO certifications, BSI C5, SOC 2, and more. Through an exclusive partnership with Europe’s leading legal publisher, the technology company offers Europe’s first license to the legal AI market. In Germany, the legal tech company’s legal AI workspace Beck-Noxtua is being developed in collaboration with leading German legal publisher CHBECK. The platform is based on beck-online, the most comprehensive legal database in the German-speaking world, containing more than 60 million documents.
With Industrial AI Cloud, Noxtua benefits from high-performance GPU resources for AI training and inference. It is compliant with EU AI legislation and enables industry-specific compliance (e.g. BaFin, Criminal Law), as well as sovereign and computationally intensive applications for regulatory sectors such as the judiciary and the corporate sector.
