Elon Musk is doubling his efforts in the generative AI landscape. In addition to his Xai, which recently acquired X (formerly Twitter) for $33 billion, the billionaire has announced plans to build a “purely AI software company” called Macrohard.
He announced earlier today at X, asking field experts to join Xai and help build the company. “It's a tongue-like name, but the project is very realistic!” Musk has been added.

The announcement has received mixed reactions across social media, and has been memes and hard work.
However, Elon Musk is not entirely correct about Microsoft being a completely software company. Microsoft is well known for developing software such as Windows. The Microsoft 365 office, which has been widely adopted by users around the world for many years, has also dabbled in hardware development, including computing, gaming and mobile hardware (RIP Windows Phone).
However, the masks have not completely left the base. Much of the company's hardware and services are shipped early to Microsoft's cemetery. While criticizing Microsoft's lack of direction and mission, as our executive editor Jez Corden shows:

Despite efforts to improve the user experience of Windows Copilot, users appear to be leaning towards Openai's ChatGPT. Even companies seem to prefer ChatGpt over Copilot, despite both tools being based on the same technology.

The billionaire has been in the Openai and Microsoft cases since leaving the ChatGpt maker's board of directors. He filed two separate lawsuits against the AI company, citing the severe betrayal of its founding mission after announcing its intention to evolve into a for-profit amid immense pressure from investors.
Openai, Inc. has been converted into a closed, virtually subsidiary of Microsoft, the world's largest technology company. Under the new board, it is not just being developed, but is actually improving the AGI to maximize the profits of Microsoft, not for the benefit of humanity. This was a severe betrayal of the establishment agreement.

Microsoft's partnership with OpenAI has attracted a lot of attention across the tech industry, with executives like Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff predicting that Microsoft will not use Openai's technology in the future following the announcement of its $500 billion Stargate project to accelerate the construction of data centers across the US to enhance the advancement of AI companies.
But the best tech bromance ever appears to be fraying following an open new mission to evolve into a for-profit company. Several reports suggest that Microsoft is suppressing its migration plan to protect its best interests. “What we're trying to do is Microsoft's nuclear option.” Added Openai insider.
After the launch of Openai's GPT-5 model, Elon Musk showed it “Openai is planning to eat Microsoft Alive.” However, Satya Nadella and Sam Altman do not seem to be outrageous with this claim. “People have been trying for 50 years. That's the fun of it! Every day you learn something new, innovate, partner and compete.” Added Microsoft CEO.
