Artificial intelligence has always been in the headlines since the rise of natural language chat models. Recently, various industries have been affected. And Elon Musk believes artificial intelligence can contest the 2032 US presidential election. Mr. Musk shared his own remarks during an interaction with the media at the 10th Breakthrough Awards Ceremony.

The CEO's comments were made Saturday at the world's largest science awards, which honor advances in fundamental physics, mathematics and life sciences. The media was asking Musk (who was one of the attendees at the event) about who would win the US presidential election. A reporter asked, “Who will win the White House in 2024?”

After laughing heartily, the billionaire said: “Who will win the White House in 2032? What type of AI? Transformers or proliferation?” If they are smart enough, they can undermine democracy.” This latest comment comes a week after Musk predicted on X (formerly Twitter) Space that AI could be smarter than humans by 2026.
