Now, after Google's DeepMind used Project Astra to summarize OpenAI events earlier this week and Synthesia just got slapped in the face with ChatGPT-4o, AI companies are crossing the river again.
This time, it's AI music generator ElevenLab that is using Google's Veo Engine to build new songs using videos that are themselves built from AI.
“We liked what we saw with Veo at Google I/O so much that we turned it into a music video using AI-generated sound effects and music.” Eleven Lab's account was posted on X.

The dark, synthesizer vibe of the audio comes straight from Veo's neon-drenched videos, and there's a certain “sing what you see” feel about the whole thing.
Over the musical notes, Eleven Lab sings, “Neon towers in the sky, bright colors shine bright,” but interestingly, when the cars appear to be floating on the ground, they sing “flying cars.” It is called. Is this an AI-based artistic license?
Still, it's definitely impressive, and the tempo slows down a bit towards the end of the video as the aforementioned car travels through a tunnel of light into real-world Hong Kong.
Overall, this is another great example of combining different AI tools to create something unexpected. Eleven Labs has added audio to the first Sora video released by OpenAI, where the company shows off its newfound musical skills.
