Dubai Chambers has announced the establishment of an Agentic AI executive committee. The move follows the recent launch of an initiative by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of the UAE, and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, to move Dubai’s private sector towards agentic AI.
The committee recently held its first meeting online, chaired by HE Eng. Mr. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, President of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Chairman of the Executive Committee, was in attendance, as was His Excellency Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications, President of Dubai Digital Economy Chamber and Vice-Chairman of the Executive Committee.
Strengthening the competitiveness of the private sector

Committee responsibilities
The committee will be responsible for approving plans for Agentic AI’s professional training track for business groups and business councils operating under the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry as part of a two-year transformation plan. It will also be responsible for designing and establishing an incubator for Agentic AI companies to support transformation in Dubai, as well as supporting the development of companies specialized in developing and using Agentic AI solutions. The committee’s responsibilities also include establishing a dedicated support fund to help selected companies transition to Agentic AI, as well as fostering knowledge sharing and capacity building in the Agentic AI space within Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
