Group Chief Executive Officer, McEnies Global Communications, a prominent marketing communications and event planning practitioner, Omolalayeni Olaosebikan, has identified Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a transformative technology that has the potential to transform industries and drive economic growth not only in Nigeria but across the world.
She made this assertion during a virtual conference with mediapersons. She used the occasion to speak about her latest skills and knowledge acquisition achievements at Said Business School, Oxford University and the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC).
Mr. Omolarayeni will receive his certification in the Artificial Intelligence program from the University of Oxford's Said Business School on May 28, 2024, and will also become a Certified Management Consultant (CMC®) from the Institute of Management Consultants on May 27, 2024. CEO McEneas is also an IMC Fellow.
While answering questions from reporters, she said, “I recently received my certification in Artificial Intelligence Programme from Said Business School, University of Oxford after a rigorous two-month academic experience. The experience was fascinating as it enhanced my skills in integrating AI into business processes while also giving me insight into the ethical implications and business impact. It was enlightening to understand the expectations as the world moves towards AI in modern business practices. This certification is significant for my career development and has broadened my perspective on the future of AI in business.”

Olaosebikan also used the occasion to appeal to business owners and leaders across industries to get involved in the AI digital transformation of Nigeria’s business ecosystem through the adoption of the technology. According to him, “businesses are the main drivers of AI innovation and adoption, leveraging AI technologies to enhance their operations, drive growth and deliver value to their customers in the modern, transformative business environment.”
