The digital presentation begins with a digital caricature of a U.S. leader saying, “Have you or someone you know been diagnosed with TDS? The symptoms can be unrelenting. Fortunately, I’m Dr. Trump and I have a treatment plan. Let’s hear what some of my patients have to say.”

The fabricated video then featured mock depictions of prominent celebrities who publicly opposed his policies, including broadcast hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Rosie O’Donnell, and Hollywood stars Robert De Niro, Julia Roberts, Edward Norton and John Leguizamo, all of whom appeared to praise fictitious medical protocols.

What does Donald Trump’s AI video show about his “TDS treatment” and recovery claims?

One of the synthetic avatars representing a recovery case says, “I’ve been suffering for over 10 years. After listening to Dr. Trump, I started seeing some results. Well, I’ve been suffering for years.”

The video ends with a virtual avatar of the U.S. president handing out medical advice and saying, “The cure is simple. Stop the fake news. Say your prayers. And when you feel anxious, drink a Diet Coke like I do and you’ll see noticeable changes in your life.”

This recent upload adds to the catalog of synthetic media that American leaders have disseminated online over the past few months.

Multiple examples of these publications have sparked significant public debate, particularly a doctored photograph depicting the US president alongside a holy figure amidst a public dispute with Pope Leo XIV.

Following widespread backlash, that particular graphic was removed from the platform. However, the American leader later distributed another composite photo showing himself being embraced by a spiritual figure with the Stars and Stripes in the background.
