I don’t want to wait until 2027 Frozen 3?You may be able to make your own in the near future.

During Disney’s fourth-quarter and full-year 2025 earnings conference call, Disney CEO Bob Iger said that Disney+ is “in the middle of rolling out the biggest and most significant changes in both product and technology since we launched in 2019.”

He said the changes would include games on Disney+ through a deal with Epic Games, or at least “many game-like features.” (Epic Games’ deal is actually about the use of Disney IP on Epic’s platform.) There will also be short-form user-generated content (UGC) from gen-AI on Disney+ in the future.

“The other thing that we’re really looking forward to is what AI will allow us to do, and that is to give Disney+ users a more engaging experience, including the ability to create user-generated content and consume content (primarily short-form) created by other users,” Iger continued.

It seems like Disney is planning to invade the realm of Open AI Sora. (Or maybe I’ll just use Sora 2…)

Shortly after the call, Iger said Disney had had “productive conversations” with the unnamed AI company and said he hoped the studio giants could reach an agreement that “reflects the need to protect intellectual property.”
