Hours later, after the video went viral, the creator made another post that read:
You can’t take everything at face value. This is a great lesson about TikTok, life, and politics, and what’s going on is that we need more clicks. You need to look beyond the headlines.
We reached out to the creator for more information, including what software they used to create the video. We will update this story if we receive a response.
The fake video was based on July 1, 2026 footage released by FOX News. The original, unedited video shows President Trump pausing briefly with one foot in the air as he gets into his car. At no point in the video does he collapse.
AI-generated videos contain visible signs of AI software, such as blurry borders and unnatural hands with unnatural shapes.

The creator of TikTok may have used the July 1st Instagram post (archive) to create the video. The Instagram post reads “BREAKING NOW” in the same color and font as the clip in question.
