San Francisco, DeepMind CEO Demis Hassabis said the Google-owned artificial intelligence (AI) company is working on a new AI system named “Gemini” that is more powerful than OpenAI’s ChatGPT.
Hassabis said engineers are using technology from the AI program AlphaGo, which was the first to defeat a human champion in the board game Go, to develop Gemini, Wired reported.
Haq also said that India’s Usha Raomonari will step down as United Nations Development Program deputy secretary-general and be replaced by China’s Haolian Shu.
The Vienna-based United Nations Space Office “seeks to promote international cooperation in the peaceful use and exploration of space and in the application of space science and technology for sustainable economic and social development,” said Haque.
UK native Hora Maini is Executive Director of the World Association of Satellite Operators, Executive Vice President of Northstar Earth and Space and Founder and President of Orbitz Consulting.
She is a member of the Advisory Board of the Indian Satellite Industry Association.
Raomonari, an infrastructure investment expert, was previously CEO of Blackstone firm Global Water Development Partners, where he also served as a senior advisor before being appointed to a UN post in 2021. was
She was also Director of the World Bank International Finance Corporation’s Sustainable Business Advisory Group.
