DataStax is publishing new versions of Langflow and RAGStack, both tools that can be used to develop AI applications, and a new partnership now enables DataStax to prepare unstructured data for AI.
The update should significantly speed up the process of developing AI applications based on RAG (Search Augmentation Generation), with DataStax saying the process will be “100x faster.”
Langflow 1.0
Langflow was an existing visual framework that DataStax was expected to add to its portfolio through an acquisition earlier this year, and now the framework is also available on the DataStax Cloud platform.
DataStax has indicated that it has no plans to change the framework. Langflow 1.0 is intuitive to use through its drag-and-drop interface, and offers many features through integration with popular Gen AI tools such as OpenAI, Hugging Face, and Mistral.
RAG Stack 1.0
Additionally, a new version of RAGStack is now available, a ready-to-use RAG solution that includes multiple building blocks for building AI software, and Langflow can also be integrated into the solution.
The new version adds the Knowledge Graph RAG feature, which allows users to easily share information extracted by the AI model. graphIt is a data structure in which the connections between different pieces of information become immediately apparent.
partnership
Finally, a partnership with Unstructured.io was announced that opens new possibilities for preparing unstructured data sources for AI, such as PDFs and data from Salesforce and Google Drive environments.
