DataGPT expands generative AI chat-based business analytics with Google Analytics connector

DataGPT, a generative artificial intelligence-powered data analytics startup, today announced it is expanding its capabilities with the launch of a connector library for third-party applications including Google Analytics, Salesforce, Hubspot, and Shopify.

Businesses will be able to connect DataGPT to these platforms and use its generative AI chatbot to query insights in natural language without having to export or import data.

DataGPT, incorporated as Comparison Inc., released its generative AI conversational data analytics tool in October, which it says combines the logic and reasoning of sophisticated large-scale language models with advanced data analytics techniques to enable small businesses and individuals to analyze information in more sophisticated ways, just like larger enterprises.

Users can apply DataGPT to their database and ask questions in a familiar chat interface just like they would talk to a human colleague. For example, they can ask, “Why did my revenue go down this week?” and DataGPT will provide a relevant answer in seconds. Users can then dig deeper and ask, “Tell me more about the decline in revenue from influencer partnerships” to find the real reasons for what's going on.

The company says its secret is its large-scale, self-hosted language models that are trained to handle the ambiguities of human speech, and that not only provide text responses but also generate charts and other visuals that illustrate the insights they discover.

Today's release of DataGPT Xpress enables users to connect DataGPT to a variety of commonly used business applications, including Google Analytics, with more connectors expected to be released by Q3.

The startup says its tool is aimed at small and medium-sized businesses that are disadvantaged because they have limited budgets and can't afford to buy cutting-edge data analysis tools or hire dedicated data experts like larger companies.

The company claims that DataGPT Xpress eliminates the need for expensive business intelligence tools and data experts, empowering business users to conduct their own data analysis, dynamically compare campaigns and understand how their business is performing.

According to the company, DataGPT Xpress helps marketers reduce the cost of email campaigns by analyzing monthly results and identifying which segments are most influencing performance. It also helps marketers gain a deeper understanding of page views and conversion rates and use those insights to improve content and user experience.

Alina Curtis, co-founder and CEO of DataGPT, said the release of the company's first data connector marks an important step towards the company's mission of democratizing access to data analytics. “Built with the same technology as our enterprise DataGPT software, this new affordable product lowers the barrier to entry and will soon include connectors for other popular third-party applications such as Shopify, Hubspot and Salesforce,” she said.

To encourage SMEs to give it a try, DataGPT has announced that it will offer a two-week free trial of its platform, allowing them to immediately integrate with their Google Analytics data and see the benefits for themselves.
