New data reveals that over 67% of marketers are considering using AI to help create video content.

An independent Censuswide survey of 200 marketers across content development, planning and strategy, commissioned by Overcast HQ, found that despite being called a “major obstacle,” video has rocketed from being the least used to the most used content format in marketing campaigns, seeing a 71% increase in usage overall.

This comes as 55% of respondents claim that video is superior when creating marketing campaigns compared to images (30%) and text (14%).

However, data revealed that switching from least to most used video was causing major problems, with 77% of brands unable to find video content, leading to expensive reshoots and wasted time.

“It's clear that video management has not kept up with the sheer volume of content modern brands are creating,” said Philippe Brodeur, founder and CEO of Overcast HQ.

“While this may feel like a major obstacle, we are at an exciting inflection point where we can see what the combination of AI and intelligent asset management solutions can do to overcome the biggest challenges facing brands around the world.”
