Indeemo adds AI translation to video research tool

January 23, 2026

Indeemo, a Cork, Ireland-based insights platform, powers its real-time video tools with automatic translation and promises to help cross-functional global teams overcome language barriers and analyze multi-market projects in real-time.

Will PlummerFounded in 2016, Indeemo offers a mobile app that allows respondents to capture contextual videos of their lives and real-world actions, and in October added a feature called Live Video, allowing researchers to conduct real-time one-on-one video ethnographies and interviews with participants in natural environments via smartphones.

The latest additions focus on reducing the friction associated with video research in multiple countries by instantly generating English subtitles for footage recorded in over 30 different languages. Users can query multilingual video datasets using English prompts and retrieve relevant video clips with bilingual transcripts. Indeemo says this allows teams to “instantly see the nuances of the original footage without waiting for third-party translation.” The company says customers will be able to complete multi-country video research in “days.”

Chief Experience Officer Will Plummer (pictured) commented: “The power of automated translation lies in fostering shared understanding across global project teams. When all clients, designers, and researchers, regardless of their native language, can see and understand the same key moments together, global insights become a living, shared experience.”
