Cvent acquires Goldcast and adds AI video tools to event marketing platform

AI Video & Visuals

Cvent has acquired video platform Goldcast, a service that uses AI to automate video production with a focus on B2B webinars and events. This agreement expands Cvent's event marketing and content capabilities.

Cvent said the acquisition will enable marketers to convert live event sessions into video content such as clips, summaries and post-event summaries.

By integrating Goldcast into its platform, Cvent aims to enable teams to repurpose event content faster while extending the value of webinars and conferences across marketing and sales channels.

The core value that Goldcast provides is reducing the time required to create post-event assets. Marketers can host events and reuse content instantly.

The AI-powered service ranks in Deloitte's 2025 Technology Fast 500 and is recognized as a fast-growing technology company.

“Together, we will bring same-day, branded video into the hands of more marketers, enabling them to publish, personalize, and sell faster,” said Palash Soni, CEO and co-founder of Goldcast.

“This acquisition reflects our strong belief in the power of AI-driven video and the role AI will play in the future of event marketing,” said Reggie Aggarwal, Founder and CEO of Cvent.

He added, “By bringing Cvent and Goldcast together, our teams will be able to move faster and keep our audiences engaged at every stage of the customer journey.”

This acquisition not only brings video creation into Cvent's event workflows, but also links event data and video engagement metrics.

Cvent said this will give marketers clearer insight into buyer behavior. The integrated tools aim to increase ROI from your events.
