Cloudbrink announced new security features aimed at managing enterprise use of AI agents and browser-based AI services, along with user access controls on its secure connectivity platform.
The company says these additional features work in conjunction with Zero Trust network access services and focus on policy, visibility, and traffic classification for AI-related activities in hybrid work environments.
The adoption of AI across the enterprise has expanded the range of tools and connectivity paths used for sensitive work. Some organizations use hosted AI services through a web browser, while others develop AI agents, plugins, or run models locally. This combination can create multiple routes for data to move between users, applications, and external services.
Cloudbrink cited research showing widespread enterprise adoption of AI, along with security concerns related to different platforms, different protocols, and limited standardization.
“AI is complicating the threat map. Enterprises are using AI in multiple ways across disparate paths, and they need to secure every path,” said Prakash Mana, CEO of Cloudbrink. “For companies with hybrid workforces, this becomes even more complex. Last year was the year companies dabbled in AI. In 2026, more companies will be using AI for serious business, and that requires security, scalability, and speed. That’s what Cloudbrink is providing for AI in the enterprise.”

Cloudbrink said the update expands on what it calls its Safe AI capabilities. The company described this work as an effort to align controls for AI agents and online AI services with existing controls for users and applications.
One of the new elements is the Safe AI BrinkAgent. Cloudbrink says BrinkAgent acts as a component of its platform and can recognize traffic related to AI agents and browser-based AI services. The company said the agent can also identify cases where sensitive data may be compromised. Cloudbrink says BrinkAgent operates based on security policies set by customers and aligned with data protection and compliance requirements.
Cloudbrink also described a built-in database of definitions for AI agents and online AI services. The company says the database recognizes protocols and platforms used by various AI services. He said the definition will be continually updated as new agent types and protocols emerge.

For organizations building in-house AI agents or using specialized industry tools, Cloudbrink says customers can add custom AI agent definitions to the database.
The company also emphasized what it called unified policy and visibility. Cloudbrink said customers can manage security for hybrid worker users and AI agents and services from the same console. The console said it provides visibility across users, applications, AI agents and services, as well as traffic details.
The company positioned this move as a response to the operational realities of enterprises deploying AI across different departments and workflows. AI agents can operate with varying degrees of autonomy. Browser-based AI services may sit outside typical application access patterns. Both can introduce new data flows that security teams need to monitor and control.
Customer use
Cloudbrink said its customers are already using elements of its AI platform since introducing the service last year.
One of its customers, Supervity AI, said security and trust issues remain central to the widespread adoption of agent AI in critical operations.
