AI startup Cinnamon announced on March 24 that it has been selected as a supplier for the 2026 AI Voucher Support Program run by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Information Communication and the National Information and Communication Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA).
The “AI Voucher Support Program” is a scheme that issues vouchers to small and medium-sized enterprises, venture businesses, and mid-sized companies that need to introduce AI, and supports the introduction of supplier solutions. Companies that wish to implement Cinnamon’s solution can receive vouchers worth up to 200 million won.
The chosen solution is the AI video production service CineV. Automatically convert text or script into 3D animation. It combines 3D physical space and AI motion technology to keep character movements and backgrounds consistent. The company said users can directly adjust camera configuration and lighting, giving them more control over direction than existing AI video services.
Cinnamon has so far raised a total of 25 billion won in investment from companies such as Crafton, Naver Z, Snow, and Altos Ventures. It was also selected for the Nvidia Inception program. Through this project, the company plans to target content companies such as web novels, webtoons, games, and anime as its main customers.
Hong Doo-sung, CEO of Cinnamon, said, “We will support small content companies that have been hesitant to produce 3D video due to cost and technical barriers to create content that is globally competitive.”
