Ceva appoints former Microsoft AI and hardware leaders

Today, the company announces its appointment of Yaron Galitzky as CEVA's Executive Vice President of Artificial Intelligence, reporting to CEVA's Amir Panush. Galitzky leads the business and AI strategy of CEVA, a veteran Microsoft executive recognized as having formed some of the world's most iconic consumer devices, and based on the strong foundation of EDGE AI companies, including the Neupro NPU family, accelerates product innovation and strengthens CEVA's position as a core technology provider in the smart edge AI supply chain.

Galitzky recently served as Vice President of Microsoft's Surface Devices and Accessories, defining Microsoft's Edge AI Roadmap for consumer devices and integration into mainstream computing platforms, including the Surface Copilot+ PC portfolio. Previously, he played a pivotal role in the development of Xbox One, Kinect, and various surface devices and accessories. 17 years ago at Microsoft, he spent over 10 years in IBM's leading Advanced Chip Design program.
